2. Service Description and Disclaimers

2.1 Rating Process

Check This provides three types of collectible assessments:

Grading: Evaluation of a card's overall condition and quality
Condition Assessment: Determination of a card's general condition state
Identification: Verification of a card's identity, set, and authenticity

2.2 Community-Based Ratings

All ratings and assessments are:

Determined through multiple rounds of community voting
Based on the collective opinions of our user base
Subjective in nature and may vary between evaluators
Not guaranteed to match professional grading service assessments

2.3 Pricing and Valuations

Any prices or values shown are estimates only
Estimates are based on market data and community assessments
Actual market values may differ significantly
We do not guarantee any specific value or resale price
Users should not rely solely on our estimates for financial decisions

2.4 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service provides community-based opinions only. We make no warranties about:

The accuracy of any grade, condition, or identification assessment
The current or future value of any collectible
The authenticity of any item
The market liquidity of any collectible

3. Content Guidelines

3.1 Acceptable Content

Users may only upload images of trading cards and other supported collectibles for grading and authentication purposes
All uploaded images must be clear and unaltered
Images must be of physical items in your possession or that you have permission to upload

3.2 Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination:

Any images not related to collectible grading/authentication
Explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
Copyrighted material without proper authorization
Altered or manipulated images intended to deceive
Images containing personal information or identifiable individuals
Any illegal content

4. Image Rights and Usage

4.1 License Grant

By uploading images to Check This, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the images in connection with the Service and our business operations, including for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Service.

4.2 Representation and Warranty

You represent and warrant that:

You own or have the necessary rights to the images you upload
Your uploads will not violate any third-party rights
All information provided about the collectibles is accurate to the best of your knowledge

5. Account Termination

5.1 Termination by Check This

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately and without prior notice for any violations of these Terms, including but not limited to:

Uploading prohibited content
Engaging in fraudulent activity
Violating any applicable laws
Abusing the Service or its users

5.2 Effects of Termination

Upon account termination:

Access to the Service will be immediately revoked
Any active subscriptions will be cancelled
No refunds will be provided for the current billing period
Previously uploaded content may be retained for record-keeping purposes
Banned users will not be permitted to create new accounts

6. Subscription Policies

6.1 Subscription Cancellation

Users whose accounts are terminated for violations will have their subscriptions cancelled
No refunds will be issued for the current billing period in cases of termination due to violations
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings

6.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis
No partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of the billing period
Price changes will be notified in advance

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
